WHAT IS A GRAPHIC OVERLAY? WHERE ARE GRAPHIC OVERLAYS USED?
A graphic overlay, also known as a membrane panel, is a decorative surface product formed by screen printing or digital printing ink on the back of polyester or polycarbonate film. Graphic overlays can include embossed buttons and display windows to convey functional instructions and warning information. They can resist oil, chemicals, and other solvents. Durability and visibility are essential. With a well-designed overlay, it helps protect your product from water, dust, and contaminants.
The graphic overlay can be used independently as a user interface on the surface of various electronic and electrical devices, serving as the interface for human-computer interaction! It can also be integrated with printed flexible circuits, PCBs, copper flexible circuits (FPC), and silicone keyboards to form products such as membrane switches, silicone keyboard switches, capacitive switches, etc.

WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED FOR GRAPHIC OVERLAYS?
The materials for graphic overlays can be PET/PC/PMMA/etc., with thicknesses ranging from 0.1mm to 4mm. The back of the graphic overlay typically uses a double-sided adhesive for attachment to your product. We generally use adhesives from 3M. Of course, Japanese adhesives are also a good choice. WHAT OPTIONS CAN BE ADDED TO GRAPHIC OVERLAYS?
Embossed buttons are usually made by pressing the texture of the buttons with a mold, also known as dome embossing. The shape can be round, square, ring-shaped, etc. In addition, embossed buttons can also include a braille option.
