Rubber Keypad Also known as a Silicone keypad, it is the decorative interface of a silicone membrane switch. Silicone keypads can also be directly designed as tactile components of the switch. When enhanced with backlighting technology, silicone keypads are the best material choice.
Overlay Adhesive Is used to bond the silicone keypad with the parts below.
Metal Dome Retainer Used to fix the Metal dome, ensuring that the position of the Metal dome does not change when pressed. This layer can usually be added with a light guide film (LGF) and shielding options.
Spacer Adhesive Also known as Intermediate adhesive, it is used to bond the most critical circuit part below.
Metal Dome Is the tactile and circuit switch signal feedback component of the silicone membrane switch.
Circuit Can be a screen-printed polyester circuit, Copper Flex Circuit (FPC), or PCB. All electronic components can be integrated on this layer via SMD.
Rear Adhesive Located at the bottom of the silicone membrane switch, it can be specified according to the usage environment and needs. This is the key to the combination of the silicone membrane switch with other components.
Connector Is the connection component of the silicone membrane switch and the control unit of the PCB, which can install a normal connector or a lock connector according to needs; it can also be a bare tail connection suitable for ZIF connectors.
